General Motors' autonomous vehicle unit Cruise recalled and updated software in 80 self-driving cars following a crash in June in San Francisco, public filings showed. The crash, which left two people injured, involved a driverless Cruise robotaxi braking harshly while making a left turn. As per regulators, the recalled software could "incorrectly predict" an oncoming vehicle's path.
