Cuba suffers 2nd nationwide power outage in week amid fuel crisis

Cuba suffered a nationwide outage for the second time in a week amid its fuel shortage crisis. Cuba's supply of 35,000 oil barrels a day from Venezuela was hit after US captured President Nicolas Maduro in January. The country's electricity system requires around 100,000 oil barrels per day to meet demand, 40% of which is covered by domestic production.
