Speaking at Dakshin Dialogues 2026, Karnataka minister Krishna Byre Gowda accused the Centre of marginalising South India through unfair GST processes and fund allocations. He said GST Council meetings involve only “token consultation”, with states given brief speaking time before central decisions override their views.
