Dog-bite cases double in Rajasthan in 2025; Jaipur worst-affected
Dog bite cases in Rajasthan rose from over 460 in 2024 to more than 900 in 2025, an RTI application revealed. Jaipur recorded the highest cases in both years, rising from 307 in 2024 to 633 in 2025. Incidents involving children also saw a rise with 45 victims in Jaipur alone in 2024 rising to 65 in 2025.
