After at least eight people died by getting drowned in the Banas River in Rajasthan's Tonk on Tuesday, Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma posted on X, "News of the death...is extremely sad and painful." CM Sharma stated, "I pray to God to give peace to the departed souls". The incident happened after people entered in the river to take a bath.
