Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that "there is a greater acceptance" among members of the G20 that actions on cryptocurrency assets will have to be global. "G20...has responded fairly with alacrity [on the crypto challenge]," she said. Sitharaman added there was a "very substantive" discussion and there is an agreement that "yes, it has got to be globally handled".
