Govt earned ₹5,000 crore through scrap disposal in last 5 years

The central government has earned ₹5,000 crore through scrap disposal in the last five years, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said. Around 1,000 lakh square feet of office space has been freed, and more than 24 lakh cleanliness campaign sites have been undertaken during the period. Around 2 crore files were also weeded out for improved record management in five years.
