HC directs agency to probe social media posts on LPU unrest

The Punjab and Haryana High Court directed the investigating agency to examine social media posts containing incorrect reporting that triggered unrest at Lovely Professional University. The Division Bench noted that certain posts on X, Instagram, and Reddit remained accessible despite most offending content being blocked. Copies were handed to State counsel for action.
