The holy ice Shivling of the Amarnath cave, which draws lakhs of devotees every year, has melted almost completely within days of the yatra, which began on July 3. Pictures of the cave surfaced online. When asked about this, J&K CM Omar Abdullah said, "None of us can decide for how long Shivling will remain...It's created by the deity himself."
