Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) opposed telecom regulatory body TRAI's proposed rules to regulate OTT platforms, calling it an overreach of jurisdiction, Moneycontrol reported. The objection follows TRAI's March draft regulations on telecom commercial communications. IAMAI argued that OTT services fall outside the definition of telecom services.
