Sukanya Sonowal, a B Tech final-year student at IIT Guwahati, has been appointed Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassador for 2025–27. Representing India on the CYPAN Executive Committee, she will lead communications and PR across 56 member nations. A native of Assam, Sukanya was chosen for her leadership in STEM outreach and peace-building efforts, including her co-founded initiative STEMvibe.
