India's Chikitha storms into women's compound archery quarter-finals at Asian Games

India's Chikitha Taniparthi advanced to the quarter-finals of the women's compound archery individual event at the Asian Games 2026 on Monday. Chikitha beat Chinese Taipei's Chen Yi-Hsuan in a shoot-off after both archers scored 148 in the Round of 16, with the Indian hitting the bullseye to secure the win. She will face Indonesia's Nurisa Dian Ashrifah in the quarter-final.
