India saw value of UPI transactions in December rise to a record high of ₹8.26 lakh crore, NPCI data showed. The month also saw the volume of transactions jump to record high at 456 crore. For the year, UPI saw 3,874 crore transactions, up 105% from 2020. The value of these transactions rose by over 130% at ₹71.46 lakh crore.
