Indian IT firms slash H-1B registrations by 92% for FY27

TCS, Infosys, and HCLTech have cut H-1B visa registrations by 92% for fiscal 2027, from 21,919 to just 1,763. The sharp drop follows the US introducing a $100,000 fee per new visa and revamping the lottery system to prioritize higher-salaried, advanced-skill applicants.
