Reacting to Iran denying asking for talks with US amid conflict, US President Donald Trump said Iran "begged" for talks before publicly denying that any discussions were taking place. Pushing back on Iranian claims about control of Strait of Hormuz, Trump stated it is controlled by US Navy. He added Iran has only two options: deal or total surrender.
