Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed his country's thanks to India for allowing Iranian vessel IRIS Lavan to dock in Kochi, EAM S Jaishankar told Parliament. Iran had requested emergency harbour on February 28, and the vessel arrived and docked on March 4, he said. The US had attacked another Iranian ship in the Indian Ocean on the same day.
