Following the recent social media post by eight-year-old International Kickboxing Champion Tajamul Islam, the Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to release ₹10 lakh for her academy. The decision was taken by CM Mehbooba Mufti, who is also the President of the state's sports council. Islam had recently slammed the government for not providing basic facilities in her academy.
