Journalist and author Rana Ayyub on Sunday alleged on Twitter that "RSS members along with cops and local leaders are attacking Muslim localities" in Kanpur and Muzaffarnagar in UP. "Families are leaving for safer places. Cars and houses are being burnt," she claimed. UP Police denied the allegations, asking her to "share verifiable evidence" for them to look into.
