Ex-IPL Chairman Lalit Modi has defended actress Sushmita Sen against the "gold digger" tag she faced after their relationship became public in 2022. Lalit said, "She paid for everything...I was like a kept boyfriend. When somebody says she was a gold digger...Lalit was a diamond digger." Talking about their break-up, Lalit said that the distance was too much for them.
