Learned of his beheading via Facebook: Bangladeshi man's father

Abdul Basir, father of Bangladeshi national Nazrul Islam, a 22-year-old cleaner executed in Saudi Arabia on October 14, revealed he learned about the execution via Facebook. Nazrul's paternal aunt suffered a heart attack upon hearing the news. The family said no prior notice was given. Nazrul left his family with a Tk 7 lakh debt borrowed to send him abroad.
