Maruti Suzuki is stopping production of its iconic Gypsy off-roader that was introduced in India in 1985. A recent e-mail addressed to Maruti Suzuki dealers instructed them not to accept any new bookings for the Gypsy. Gypsy was the company's third vehicle driven in the country after 800, which was discontinued in 2014, and Omni, to be discontinued in 2020.
