Microsoft is testing major UX updates to integrate smartphones more deeply into Windows 11, according to Windows Central. Planned additions include a dedicated phone panel on the taskbar, clipboard history syncing and an upgraded Phone Companion in the Start menu. The company is also working on a standalone Messages app for managing SMS conversations directly from a PC.
