Microsoft Cloud chief Scott Guthrie told Bloomberg that the company invested hundreds of millions of dollars to build a supercomputer for ChatGPT maker OpenAI. Microsoft linked together thousands of NVIDIA graphic chips to build the supercomputer. Another Microsoft executive Nidhi Chappell said the project made ChatGPT possible, and there will be more AI models that will come out of it.
