Elon Musk's staff has contacted chip equipment suppliers like Applied Materials, Tokyo Electron, and Lam Research, for his Terafab AI chip complex project, Bloomberg reported. They also sought support from manufacturing partner Samsung Electronics. Musk unveiled the Terafab project in March to develop chips for AI, robotics, and data centres in space.
