Muzaffarnagar man acquitted after 10 years in NDPS case

A Muzaffarnagar man was acquitted after nearly 10 years in an NDPS case. Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar said “circling the courts for 10 years is in itself a punishment” and noted the mental trauma caused by delays. The court found gaps in the prosecution’s evidence, including missing independent witnesses, a sample seal and procedural lapses.
