US space agency NASA has announced a new mission SPHEREx, targeted to be launched in 2023, to explore the origins and evolution of the universe. The two-year mission is funded at $242 million, excluding launch costs, NASA said. "It will deliver an unprecedented galactic map containing 'fingerprints' from first moments in the universe's history," NASA scientists claimed.
