Norway will introduce a bill in parliament proposing a ban on social media for children under the age of 16. Norway PM Jonas Gahr said, "Play, friendships, and everyday life must not be taken over by algorithms...This is an important measure to safeguard children's digital lives." This comes amid similar social media bans in Australia, Turkey and various other countries.
