Perseid meteor showers light up skies across the world, videos viral

The annual Perseid meteor shower lit up skies across the world early on Thursday. Videos of the meteor showers seen in Türkiye, China and Japan have gone viral online. The Perseids, which peaks every year in mid-August, is considered the best meteor shower of the year. This year the celestial event has peaked on August 12-13.
