Fast food chain Pizza Hut became the first company to deliver pizza to outer space when it made a delivery to International Space Station in 2001. The pizza was sent aboard a Russian rocket used to supply the ISS. The fast food chain said that it paid the Russian space agency about $1 million for the promotional event.
