PM Narendra Modi gifted a Muga silk stole and a Shirui Lily silk stole to Italian PM Giorgia Meloni during his Italy visit. Muga silk, known as the 'Golden Silk' of Assam, is a rare textile from the Brahmaputra Valley. The Shirui Lily stole is inspired by the Shirui Lily, a pale pinkish-white flower found only in Manipur's Shirui hills.
