Robert Greene says modern relationships have become a marketplace

The Art of Seduction author Robert Greene said on a podcast that the dominant metaphor of our time is the marketplace. Seeing a partner's flaws, people swipe towards someone younger and seemingly better, he said, who inevitably has flaws too. Long relationships are deeply enriching, he added, but only if people accept glaring imperfections.
