Russian court orders closure of country’s oldest human rights group

Russia's Supreme Court ordered the closure of Memorial International, one of the country's oldest human rights groups. The organisation was "liquidated" for failing to mark its publications with a "foreign agent" label, the tag for groups receiving overseas funds. Memorial, which recently spoke against the repression of critics under Russian President Vladimir Putin, said it'll appeal the ruling.
