Former Australia captain Steve Smith had invested AU$100,000 (₹48 lakh) in a mattress startup Koala in 2015. With its most recent valuation, Smith's stake in the startup is now estimated at AU$12.18 million (around ₹60 crore). As per the Australian Financial Review, Smith has earned more from his Koala investment than from cricket altogether. Smith is also Koala's brand ambassador.
