Solicitor General Tushar Mehta on Thursday informed the Delhi High Court that climate activist Sonam Wangchuk and his associates have been released from detention, adding that their movements are no longer restricted. Notably, Wangchuk along with 125 protesters from Ladakh were detained by Delhi Police as they carried out 'Delhi Chalo Padyatra' over several demands including statehood for Ladakh.
