Speeding lorry hits 4 in Ballari, woman killed

A speeding lorry crashed into four people standing on a footpath near Somasamudra village in Ballari's Kurugodu taluk. A 48-year-old woman, Mahadevi, died in the accident, while three others, identified as Sunitha, Poojari Jedemma and Gagan, sustained injuries. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the crash.
