Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC) on Sunday launched a worldwide protest in Himachal Pradesh's Dharamshala against China's new 'Ethnic Unity and Progress Promotion Law'. The campaign began with a 24-hour chain hunger strike in memory of Tibetan activist Lobga Rangzen. The new law could give China the power to act against those it views as separatists even outside its borders.
