Greenland Energy, a Donald Trump-linked oil firm, is preparing to begin oil exploration in Greenland's Jameson Land region despite having no permission to do so. As the company brought ashore drilling equipment, Greenland's government issued a "strong warning", asked the company to get approval before bringing more equipment. The company claimed oil worth $1 trillion may lie beneath the region.
