TV presenter Sarah Khalifa sentenced to death by hanging in Egypt in major drugs case

Television presenter Sarah Khalifa has been sentenced to death by hanging after a Cairo court convicted her of involvement in manufacturing and trafficking synthetic drugs. Eleven other defendants also received death sentences in the case. Authorities said more than 750 kg of narcotics and raw materials were seized. Khalifa had denied involvement during the trial.
