UK pubs allowed to stay open until 5 am for England-Mexico FIFA WC clash

The UK government has allowed pubs and bars across England and Wales to stay open until 5am (local time) for England-Mexico FIFA World Cup 2026 clash. The two teams will face in Round of 16 match, which kicks off at 1am on July 6 (local time). Licensing hours had already been extended for World Cup from 11pm to 1am.
