UN adopts new world map; size of Europe & North America to shrink

The UNGA has voted to replace the traditional world map with one that more accurately reflects Africa's size. The map will show African continent bigger while shrinking North America and Europe, a move opposed by US. The commonly used Mercator map has been criticised as it shows Africa as similar in size to Greenland, even though it's 14 times larger.
