US, Iran worked together to deport 100+ Iranians between 2025-26 despite conflict

Newly released emails show that despite tensions, US immigration officials coordinated with Iranian representatives to deport over 100 Iranians on three flights between 2025 and early 2026. Iran requested changes to passenger lists, and US officials sometimes accommodated them. The emails also show deporting Iranians remained a Trump's priority during 12-day US-Israel-Iran conflict in June 2025.
