US giant PayPal cuts 600 jobs across 3 Indian cities: Report

American fintech giant PayPal has laid off around 600 employees across teams in India as it restructures its global workforce to cut costs, Moneycontrol reported. The job cuts affected technology, engineering, operations, payments and finance teams in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Employees were promised one month's salary as severance, but said they were yet to receive it.
