Uttarkashi on high alert after IMD rain warning

Following IMD rain alerts for Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, District Magistrate Prashant Arya directed officials to ensure trekker safety across routes and base camps. Teams are on standby for rescue operations and JCB machines and medical teams deployed in Harsil. Residents, pilgrims, and tourists were advised to avoid travel and stay away from rivers.
