Water stock in 7 Mumbai lakes lower as compared to last 2 years

Mumbai's seven lakes currently hold 90.48% of their total water capacity, lower than levels recorded during the same period in the past two years. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has already imposed a 10% water cut. Officials estimate that current reserves could last until May 21, 2027, with regular supply, and until June 14 if the cut continues.
