What is Alice in Wonderland syndrome?

Alice in Wonderland syndrome is a brain condition that disrupts brain’s ability to process sensory input. It affects how one perceives the size of things around them, the feel or look of their own body. It can also distort one's sense of reality. The syndrome is named after sensations experienced by character Alice in Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'.
