What is drinkflation, which is being practiced by UK brewers?

Brewers in the UK are being accused of 'drinkflation' for reducing the alcohol content of drinks without cutting prices amid a cost of living crisis. The term is inspired by shrinkflation in which price of a product remains same as its size is reduced. Notably, brewers pay less tax on drinks with a lower alcohol content under the UK law.
