Himachal Pradesh is set to launch its ‘SheTravel’ policy soon. Through this initiative, the state plans to introduce several measures focused on improving the safety of women travellers. The government also aims to encourage more solo women visitors, hoping to increase their share from the current 18% to 35% in the near future.
