Kyoko Somekawa, or Kyoko Jaishankar is the wife of India's External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar. Kyoko, who is of Japanese descent, met S Jaishankar when he was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Tokyo from 1996-2000. The couple shares three children.
