The satellite images of Gaza appear blurry on Google Maps, and according to a journalist, Gaza's most recent image on Google Maps is from 2016. Google says its images come from various providers and it refreshes images when high-quality images become available. Until last year, the US restricted the quality of satellite images American companies could provide on commercial basis.
