Delhi High Court slammed Delhi Police and authorities over the lack of security for judicial officers. "If we can provide [judges] with...staff, we can provide them with personal security officers...What stops...Delhi, where...crime is alarmingly high?...You are compromising...independence of the judiciary," the court said. The court was hearing a petition seeking security at judges' residences.
